Girls Program

Seahorses

5 1/2-6 years

In our 5 1/2 & 6 year old classes the structure moves more toward station work and away from circuits. Girls are separated to work on the Olympic events for each group. Skills are presented with an older school aged and motor skilled developed child in mind. Waiting in line and following directions are expected.

Mermaids

Intermediate to Advanced 6 to 7

Mermaids class is for 6 to 7 year olds who demonstrate a more advanced level than the average child their age. They should be able to perform pullover on bars and back bend kickover on floor. This class is by teacher invitation only. If interested, please contact your current instructor.

Angelfish

Beginners Age 7-11

This class is our beginner class for girls ages 7 & up. Basic to intermediate level skills are taught on all the women’s events and trampoline. There is no entry requirement into Angelfish, just a willingness to try and have fun!


Marlins

Intermediate Age 7-11

Marlins are intermediate level girls 7 & up. This class picks up where our Angelfish class leaves off. To qualify for Marlins students should be able to perform a backbend kickover on floor, as well as a pullover on the bars.


Dolphins

Advanced Age 7-11

This is our Advanced Level Class. Gymnasts entering this level should be able to do back handsprings on floor, as well as cast back hip circle on bars. Gymnasts in this class are at a more advanced level, but the emphasis is still on safety and fun!


Mantarays

Age 12 to 16

Classes are designed for 12 & up who are working on more basic to intermediate gymnastics skills but may not want to be in a class with the younger students. Students rotate to all Olympic events plus trampoline and work skills according to what they are individually able to safely do.

Sea Otters

Advanced 5 to 6 year olds - Teacher Invitation Only

Sea Otters is a program for more advanced 5 to 6 year olds in terms of motor development, strength, flexibility, and listeneing ability. They tend to pick up skills faster than most. The majority of these kids will try out for team someday. The class meets twice a week for two hours, and attendance at both classes is required. It is only available by teacher invitation,.
