Elite Team

 

 

Elite gymnastics is the highest level of training in the sport of gymnastics. Our Docksiders Elite Gymnasts train 25 + hours a week and work towards perfection every day. There are approximately 150 elite gymnasts across the nation. From this group of athletes the best of the best rise to the top and compete in the highest level of competitions earning International assignments to compete for the U.S. National Team. The top twelve Junior Elites and Senior Elites are chosen each year to comprise the U.S. National Teams. Every 4 years the best 6 are chosen to represent our country at the Olympic Games. Elite training takes more than dedication and determination, it takes a commitment to excellence that very few athletes can achieve.
